Description
Mithros. The Sun God from Tamora Pierces, The Immortals series. I'm uploading the full picture after I upload the little dragon (Kitten) who is 'scolding Mithros quite empathetically.'
Things I like:
His face, the eyes, and especially his little ear. It's da most pwefect eaw in da world
And the shinies!! I felt like I just discovered Atlantis when I put that little shine on his Breastplate.
Things I hate:
His finger, my god, it looks like a piece of jerky that just passed through a beaver rectum =_=...
A lot of the coloring job, and his Footies! I gave the Sun God freaking footies. I'm going to need to work on my sandle drawings.
FYI, the only reason I did such a good job on his pose was because I looked at an artist anatomy book. I didn't trace, but I took the pose...Does this mean the Gullotine for Sietalon!? Find out next time on, 'Ways Sie Wastes her Time

O_o there's nothing wrong with using an anatomy book for reference! good gracious I do it all the time! 
you'll find once you look at them enough, you'll start to remember where things go and the shapes...but you've got to study it first. 
i don't know many guys who would pose for me in the nude for extended periods of time so anatomy books are quite nice in the interim 
The head is lovely! it's what my eyes are drawn to initially. For the hand, i think a lot of the problem lies in the foreshortening of arm. I hate foreshortening...it sucks like a baby goat. here i think you could work with the shadows a bit to create the impression of his muscles on his upper arm right above the inside elbow. if you take out the darker knuckle line above the fingers that will fix a lot of what i see out of shape there.
